How to make your gmail account a storage device using GSpace

Follow up:
With all the space that Gmail gives you why not utilize it? Well, first off we need to acknowledge the fact that data stored somewhere other than your hard drive could be unreliable because you may not be able to access it from places without the internet. For the most part, Gspace is a nice way to upload files that could be accessed from any place you have Internet access to.
What is Gspace exactly?
It is a plugin for Firefox that allows you to login into a Gmail account and store files on it. The alternative would be to email yourself attachments but Gspace makes things more user friendly. Your Gmail turns into a storage device.
Where can I get Gspace?
Gspace can be found at www.getgspace.com. It is available for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
Why would I need to use Gspace?
For me, it is another place where I can store files and easily retrieve them on another computer. There are other methods but can cost money. Some websites such as www.mediafire.com will store your files for free but you must login at least 60 days for the account to not expire.
What are the disadvantages?
To view the files on another computer would require you download and install Gspace. Although you can login to your Gmail account with an Internet browser and see files as attachments but some files that are split up by Gspace because they were more than 20 megabytes will not be downloaded correctly. Your emails from people may get mixed up with all your uploads. To fix this get a gmail account specifically for Gspace.
The trend shows that the gmail space is expanding!
